Rainbow Light's Phyto-Active C-500 formula takes vitamin C supplementation to the next level. Vitamin C is a water-soluble nutrient that plays many critical roles in the body, including enhancing immunity, providing antioxidant protection and synthesizing collagen. When bioflavonoids are taken along with vitamin C, they may raise its concentration and effectiveness in certain tissues. Phyto-Active C-500 combines vitamin C with bioflavonoids and whole food phyto-nutrients for optimal nutrient absorption and antioxidant protection. It features:- 500 mg of vitamin C in two forms: calcium ascorbate and ascorbic acid. In addition to making this product gentle on the stomach, the calcium ascorbate in this formula also supplies calcium.
- A complex of biologically active phyto-nutrients - including 250 mg of bioflavonoids from citrus, rutin and hesperidin, plus anthocyanidins from our custom antioxidant fruit blend. THe phyto-nutrients occur in nature with vitamin C, support its action in the body and serve as potent antioxidants.
