I have been using this product and recommend it. It has helped a great deal with my diet, with no side effects. It helps to trap fat and gently removes it from your body and you don't even realize it.

I have used chitosan for almost two years now, mainly for weight loss. It seems foolish to me that anyone would want to even consider taking a prescription drug, with all its side effects, to prevent absorption of fat. Unless you're allergic to shellfish, chitosan is the only product to consider to asorb ingested fat. It helps carry the fat through your system with NO side effects that I know of.

Since taking this product I have lost a steady 1-2 pounds a week. However, I found another reason for taking it. After a very trying delivery, I developed a prolapsed bowel, and since chitosan also is a good source of dietary fiber, it has helped me immensely with my condition.
