Is the arnica in Recovery Rub affected by the menthol?
There is no evidence indicating that arnica flower extract is adversely affected by menthol. In fact, during the research and development of Recovery Rub, the arnica flower extract produced complementary affects when included with the menthol. Homeopathic Arnica, on the other hand, is adversely affected by menthol, which overpowers the homeopathic arnica. That is why Recovery Rub only uses the arnica flower extract, not homeopathic arnica, in Recovery Rub.
Is arnica flower extract as effective as the homeopathic arnica?
Yes, arnica flower extract was the traditionally used form. As discussed above, it is particularly effective in this formula because it allows the inclusion of menthol crystals, which have been clinically proven to be effective on sore muscles, aching joints and arthritis.
