Also known as frankincense, boswellia is the gummy resin of the boswellia tree. Native to India, this tree is also widespread in the Middle East and North Africa. Boswellia resin is made up of essential oils, gum, and chemical compounds called terpenoids researchers will be paying particular attention to these terpenoids, which are generally believed to be the medicinally active parts of this resin.
For inflammation, arthritis, ulcerative colitis, and bursitis. Does not have the harmful side effects of some anti-inflammatory drugs. It stimulates the growth of cartilage and increases blood supply to joints.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Use 6-12 drops in juice, water, under the tongue or as desired. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
