Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil Organic - 1/3 oz , (Frontier)
Commonly known as the "Narrow-leaved Peppermint" or the "Lemon-scented Eucalyptus" (because of its clean, crisp camphorous aroma that carries some hints of citrus and floral). Eucalyptus Radiata contains a high percentage of cineol, also known to us as eucalyptol, which is properly used to relieve colds and congestion.
Cooling, refreshing, and energizing according to its own aromatherapeutic properties, Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil is very much preferred over the Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil because the Eucalyptus Radiata is less harsh, more pleasant to inhale, and less likely to irritate your skin.
Although this oil is softer than the Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil, Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil still possesses the sam well-being properties and is a definite choice to be used around children.
You can use this oil in your hair and on your skin, for any aromatherapeutic treatments as well as to deodorize and keep insects at bay. It is also applied on your sore muscles and joints as well as an antiseptic, an expectorant, an antiviral, and is used for the respiratory system (it offers support in those respiratory conditions such as bronchial infections). Plus this oil is useful vaginitis, sinus infections, and acne.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Add 2 to 3 drops of Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil to a bowl of hot water in order to inhale the fragrant steam or even use this oil in your sauna or steam bath. Blend 5 to 10 drops of this oil to an ounce of an unscented body care product unless you are making this body care for your children.
Add 10 drops of Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil in a lamp ring diffuser for that feeling of positive energy. Dilute this oil into your gargle so it can be used to soothe a sore throat. Not intended for internal use.
It is highly concentrated and should be properly diluted before using. It should be used with care and those with high blood pressure and epilepsy should avoid it at all costs and it may cause headaches if this oil is used excessively. Keep this and other essential oils out of the reach of children and pets.
