Methyl-cobalamin is the natural, coenzyme preferred form of Vitamin B-12 that aids in cell formation and cellular health, and helps support nerve function. Methyl-cobalamin is more bio-available, a more potent antioxidant, and the only form that supports normal nerve cell activity and nervous tissue function. (Note: The commonly used cyanocobalamin (or cyano B-12) is used by essentially all other vitamin companies because it’s cheaper and more available, but it is a less desirable nutrient for supporting hearing function.)
