SUGGESTED USAGE

 Terri "Good Stuff"
I bought this product a while ago expecting a regular cleanser, and the greasy feeling after rinsing it off almost caused me to quit using it. After about a week, though, I noticed that my skin felt smoother and looked clearer than it had in a long time. I have tried pretty much every brand and variety of cleanser and this is the only one that never makes me break out and actually improves the appearance of my skin. I have very sensitive, combination skin. I do recommend using eye makeup remover prior to cleansing with this product, because it doesn't take off all of my eye makeup. The results are definitely worth it though; I don't even wear foundation anymore!

I liked the smell and the consistency of this product. It is similar to Vaseline (as was suggested in an earlier review), but cleaned and moisturized my face really well. I swim a lot in an indoor pool in the winter, and it felt great to use the facial cleanser before and after my workout. I didn't feel that I was depleting my skin of its moisture with repeated cleansing. Because I have combination skin, this is not a good product for me to use all of the time - especially in the summer. But for the price, it is worth being able to keep it in my gym bag for use at the gym.

This product is wonderful for people with dry or combination skin. You don't need to purchase an extra moisturizer if you use this product. I have acne in my t-zone and normal skin on my cheeks. I use nature's cure on my t-zone, and when it spills on to my normal skin it makes a flakey mess for days. I use the Orange Essence Facial Cleanser and then the Nature's Cure and I have perfect skin now.
Liz "Worth A Change"
I just received the Burt's Bees Starter Kit and decided to indulge myself in the full Burt's Bees experience. This product put me off at first, for the reasons a lot of people have mentioned. It definitely leaves an oily/waxy residue after being rinsed off. Although, if you use this product in conjunction with the entire line of facial products, you might be surprised. I followed this up with the Orange Facial Scrub, the Wild Lettuce Toner and lastly the Carrot Day Creme. The end result is beautiful. Clean supple, soft, moisturized skin. After 3 days of this regimen, my skin has gone from dry and flaky to soft and smooth. I've also noticed my pores have shrunk significantly. My skin is dry/normal and this season (fall) especially dry. I normally use the Clinique system, and I have to say that Burt's Bees takes the cake. May not be what you're used to in a cleanser, but maybe it's worth the change?

I would just like to say how incredible the Burt's Bees orange essence cleanser is. As a former model and stage actress, I search high and low to find a cleanser that can get rid of build-up without striping my skin. I received some as a gift and I was shocked - I never would have believed something this simple could work so well. I love Burt's Bees!!
